Painter, poet, journalist, musician, commentator, very active member in his community Alyki, Dimitris Calandranis has just published his 16 essays on Greek life and 'ethima' focussed on Paros. Sunday 27 May, tomorrow, you can buy it at the PAWS General Assembly, Archilochos Hall 11am-1 pm, thereafter at the PAWS shop. For each book sold, the strays will get 5 euros. The book is also available at Anagenissis bookstore in Parikia.

ANIMAL PLANET was in Paros 14-15 July to film a doc on the Aegean Cat. They contacted PAWS and we directed them to communities of cats and various interviews with cat lovers. Producer Matt Meagher is a former CBS correspondent and it was great fun to work with him and his team Mike Marshall and Yannis Antipas. The show will be aired end October on Discovery Channel and we will publicize the broadcast time and once we receive the DVD.  See photos on…
