"experience the body, express the moment"

Three sessions of Authentic Movement® to reconnect with your imagination, body sensations and innate ability to express deep emotions and contents in a playful and poetic form.

Authentic Movement® is one of the first form of dance-therapy practice ideated in the 70's by psychotherapist Janet Adler as a development of C.G.Jung's therapeutic practice of "Active Imagination". During the session we allow ourselves to move freely with closed eyes as we feel in the moment, while supported by a partner - the "witness" - through their attentive awareness and care for our physical safety. Then we exchange role, the 'mover' becoming the 'witness' and vice versa. At the end we exchange verbally our impressions, integrating the experience through use of words.

The process is based on trust, non-judgmental presence and allowance to express in a playful and symbolic way emotional contents stored in the unconscious body-mind.

After the classes you will experience a boost in your creativity and mood, and a joyful sense of connection with your own self. The workshop is open to participants with any kind of experience and age!
