Hommage in photography to Barbara Blümel, Dietrich Groh and the island of PAROS

In 2017 the artistic photographers Carmen Kubitz and Juergen Wassmuth from Germany, known as CORIMAGE visited the island of PAROS for ten days. Following an invitation of Barbara Bluemel and Dietrich Groh to be in their house as 'artists in residence'.
For ten days they translated the unique feeling of Cyclades landscape and the Aegean Sea in atmospheric pictures.

The large format color-pictures of seascapes and plants, somehow painted with light, give an inspiring contrast to black-and-white structures of the island, presented in originals of silver-gelatineprints.
In addition to the artistic portfolio there are also seen characteristic black-and-white-portraits of people of the island.
