Event Description

Qi-qong exercises require the dynamic participation of our attention, detailed observation and a sense of pleasure during their performance. They are something more than a copy and repetition of specific movements. They work upon different levels of the body mind. Regarding physical health they open the energy channels of the body, strengthen and give flexibility to the muscles, joints and ligaments and tonify the nervous system. Some of the exercises have also a martial application. Maybe the most important of all is that while we develop a harmonic relation between movement and breathing we explore and expand our limits, we practice meditation, we control emotions and mind, we enjoy the present moment, we upgrade the quality of our everyday life and we cultivate our higher self. The qi-qong exercise do not require an athletic condition, nevertheless they provide a physical condition more effective and deep in an easy and secure way. For this reason they can be performed by elders.
