hey everybody, we have been very lazy this autumn, no trekking in September, and the time has come for me to move to Athens for the winter time. Wish you enjoy all your exscursions walking, swimming,eating, etc. and hope to see you in March and have the opportunity to walk with you then. filia Liza

Sorry for not getting a reply earlier. We don't have any walks programmed for this period. A lot of the walk members are as well involved in PAWS, the animal welfare of Paros, and we are preparing the annual event that will take place on the 3rd of October at the Apothiki gallery. At this moment, I think most of us are focusing in the event and we will probably not be able to organize any walk before that. Maybe we can think of something for the following weekend.

I support the idea of Nadine for Despotiko, maybe we can arrange it for the second Sunday of September 2009!!?

Sorry, I didn't understand all of Marietta's suggestion. Could we have it translated in english?
I'm ok for any walk, as long as there is a place where the dogs can have a swim, and we may be too.... So, has the riverbed near Aspro Horio still water?

Otherwise, I'm afraid this page will end up very long.

Did you read Marietta's suggestion (below in Greek) to walk through the riverbed near Aspro Horio (and then go to messada?)

Antiparo sounds great, for Despotiko there is a boat living from Ag. Giorgis in summer, may be this trip started already in june... We could arrange to go from Pounda with 1 or 2 cars, depending how many people will come.

The trip to Anti Paros sounds good to me, either will do. we will go with the flow.......... Just be nice to meet everyone.

We could try to meet for next Sunday. I have 2 suggestions, one to go to Antiparos and maybe have a trip to Despotiko and lunch in Aghios Yiorgis as Nadine propose the other day. The second is a small family taberna in Mesada (not far from Golden beach) I haven't been there for the last ten years, but recently I heard is still running and as good as it was. There is also a small beach near by, where we can have a swim before. Let us know your preferences and maybe any other ideas...

To the walkers that have been on the last 2 walks what about a Sunday club as it is a little hot to be walking we could meet on Sundays for lunch. Maybe not every Sunday but it would be nice, any ideas ?
